Anne Frank Holocaust Memorial Workshop - Year 6

13th January 2017

Anne Frank

On Friday, Year 6 had the opportunity to work with Katie and Anya from the Anne Frank Trust to discover what they can learn from Anne Frank. Pupils spent the first part of the morning learning about Anne's short life. After that, the children focused on prejudice and how this effects the lives of many people today as much as it did during the time of the Holocaust. They ended the day by designing a poster to influence and inspire people with a positive message. The children contributed really well to the sessions, and I know they took  away a positive message from Anne Frank's diary entries.
