Mental Health

Mental Health Awareness week (18th -24th of May)

The Rise team plan to release daily videos and activities around this year’s theme of Kindness.  These will be uploaded to their website: www.rise-ne.co.uk/. It would be great for children to get involved and to complete the daily activities. Completed activities can then be sent to the Rise team at NGRise@cntw.nhs.uk. Please include your name, age and school on anything you would like to send to this secure email address. Please note that by emailing your work you are consenting to it being shared on the Rise team website. Also, don’t forget to keep visiting the Rise website to see your activities featured!

Thank you and we look forward to seeing all the lovely things everyone creates!

Best wishes,

RISE team

This summer term, we are due to work with the NEW Mental Health Support Teams in schools! Usually they would be working in school promoting positive mental health and offering low intensity support. Therefore, in order to continue to support our pupils during school closure they’ve just launched their brand new website! It’s got resources for keeping positive mental health during this time, as well as links to other services that can support your child’s mental health. The team will also be sharing more mental health resources via our social media in the coming weeks.
